Sand Creek Adventure Camp

Get excited! This year we are piloting a NEW experience for middle schoolers: a collaborative summer camp with The Urban Farm, Sand Creek Regional Greenway, and Bluff Lake!

Bluff Lake is fortunate to have so many great partners in the Stapleton area, even some right in our backyard. We are excited to announce that this year we  are partnering with The Urban Farm and Sand Creek Regional Greenway to offer an exclusive summer camp experience for your middle schooler! The Sand Creek Regional Greenway connects trails and communities from Aurora, to Denver, to Commerce City. It also connects organizations like The Urban Farm and Bluff Lake Nature Center along a safe and beautiful creek side trail. Students will get the chance to experience all that these organizations have to offer through outdoor programming run by experienced educators.

Students will start each day at The Urban Farm
where they will experience life on the farm through interactions with farm animals and  gardening.

Then students will travel along the Sand Creek Regional Greenway
engaging with the creek and enjoying a midday lunch.

Students will end each day at Bluff Lake Nature Center
where they will explore diverse habitats and learn about the plants and animals of Colorado.
