SITE STEWARDSHIP VOLUNTEERS
Before completing any site volunteer work at Bluff Lake, you will be asked to complete and sign a BLNC Volunteer Waiver. If possible, please print this out and sign it ahead of time, then email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to send in a completed volunteer waiver in order to receive the code for independent trash pickup.
Independent Trash Pick-Up: Drop by Bluff Lake to help out whenever it is convenient for you! Please be sure to follow all park rules, and use these Guidelines to borrow trash-pickup equipment and locate trash problem areas. There is no need to RSVP if your group size is less than 20. Just email email@example.com afterward to let us know the date, number of hours, and number of people that attended.
Friday Weed Warriors: Returning mid-to-late Spring 2021!
On Friday mornings a small group of volunteers meets at Bluff Lake to work on restoration projects. Hours are 9am-12pm during the spring and fall, and 8-11am during the summer. Depending on the week, the group pulls invasive species, collects seeds, or repairs trails. The work is geared for all skill levels, and you’re bound to learn quite a bit form our experienced core of volunteers and staff. There is no need to register, but the schedule can vary; so if you are interested please contact our Site Manager Jacob Reta at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Family Volunteer Days: POSTPONED. If you would like to organize a volunteer event with your family or a group of families, please fill out this request form.
Help us maintain Bluff Lake’s diverse habitats! Family Volunteer Days are a chance for your whole family to come out and get involved. All supplies will be provided. Ages 6+, children must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP to email@example.com.
Group Volunteer Projects: Have a scout group, work group, or other group of people interested in doing a volunteer project? Please take a look at our 2020 Volunteer Project Ideas! We get a lot of requests for projects, and these are the ones we want to focus on for 2020. Some of the projects have a required donation which takes into account project costs and staff time.
Please fill out this request form if you are interested in booking a volunteer project.
Other Opportunities: We also invite you to contribute in any of the following ways:
- Adopt a tree (watering!)
