BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Our facilitators can lead your guests through games, activities, or a campfire for the desired amount of time (options below). You do not have to have facilitators for the entire party, but you must have enough adult chaperones for any portion that is not facilitated (suggested: no more than 10 kids per adult chaperone). If you end up slightly shortening or lengthening the amount of the party that is facilitated (e.g., to account for unexpected weather), we will only charge you for the time that is actually used (15-minute increments). You may bring s’mores supplies. We can provide roasting sticks (but not the food).

  • Please fill out this form . We will review the form and send a contract with explanations of the rules and our shared commitment to follow them.

  • We will reserve a space for an event up to 2 hours long (you may also add up to 15 minutes before and after for setup/cleanup)

  • Max kids: 15

Gathering Locations for Small Events and Birthday Parties

Bluff Overlook: A space underneath the pergola provides partial shade, benches, and a beautiful view of the site.

Fire Pit Area: Benches surround a central space, and nearby picnic tables are scattered throughout gravel trails. Please note: the fire pit is NOT available for public use unless a BLNC staff person is present.

*These are the only locations where food and drink are allowed.  Please do not take any food or drinks other than water with you as you explore the rest of the site.

Site Rules:

  • Prohibited Items Include:

    • Fires of any kind (any use of the firepit must be approved by BLNC staff and requires additional fees for BLNC personnel to be onsite.)

    • Glass containers

    • Food or Drink (other than water) in ANY location other than “upstairs” (by the building, at the picnic tables, at the overlook)

    • Decorations or activities that are likely to cause litter, such as glitter, confetti, silly-string, or water balloons

    • Anything to amplify sound, such as speakers, bull-horns, noise-makers, or whistles

    • Anything that cannot be cleaned up completely following the eventStay on trails & walk quietly. Loud noises will scare wildlife and disturb other visitors.

  • Even leashed dogs stress wildlife; please walk pets elsewhere.

  • Never leave pets inside of cars in the parking lot unattended as it is dangerous for your pet and considered animal cruelty

  • Trails are for walking and jogging. Please, no horses, bikes or motorized vehicles.

  • No sledding, tubing, or snowmobiling on the hill. It will damage the habitat and is very dangerous as there are yucca and rocks on the hillside.

  • Park bikes on top of the bluff in the parking lot.

  • The lake is not suitable for wading, swimming, or boating.

  • No fishing, hunting, or trapping.

  • No camping, fires, or fireworks.

  • No alcohol or drugs.

  • No firearms, paintball, or archery.

  • Do not release unwanted pets. Many of them are exotic and can harm the native residents. Please contact us if you would like more information about what to do with unwanted pets.

  • Leave the site in the same condition that you found it.
