Bluff Lake Nature Center (Bluff Lake) is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our website, RSVP for an event, make a donation, or complete a survey. Bluff Lake does not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mailing or email addresses, unless the individual visiting Bluff Lake’s website knowingly provides it. By using Bluff Lake’s Website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of Bluff Lake’s Privacy Policy. Bluff Lake’s Privacy Policy is outlined below.

Online Memberships and Donations

When you make a donation to Bluff Lake online, our donation platform (Colorado Gives 365, a program of Community First Foundation) will ask you to provide information needed to process your donation and acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing address, email address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction. We do not store this information. You can read Colorado Gives 365’s Privacy Policy & Terms of Use HERE.

Online Surveys

Occasionally, Bluff Lake asks the public to share feedback through surveys posted on Bluff Lake’s website, sent via our newsletter, shared via social media, through partner organizations’ communications, or personally to program participants. Survey participation is voluntary, and may include questions about your experience, background, opinions, and more. This information is used so that we can better serve our community and its diverse needs, making nature more accessible.

Bluff Lake Newsletters

To keep our visitors informed about our programs and news, Bluff Lake has an online newsletter that is distributed to our mailing list approximately once a month. When people sign up for a Bluff Lake program, attend an event, complete a survey, or make a donation, they are added to the newsletter list, for communication purposes. The newsletter is hosted by Constant Contact, and only uses your email address for the purpose of our newsletters. You may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time, via the instructions at the end of the newsletter. You can view Constant Contact’s Privacy Policy HERE.
