Metro Denver Nature Alliance Unveils Bluff Lake Story Map

Denver University College of Architecture and Planning graduate student Derek Updegrove recently unveiled his capstone project, a story map illustrating his case study analysis to highlight how the Metro Denver Nature Alliance’s Regional Conservation Assessment can assist partner organizations in advocating for their local initiatives.

Along with the Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership (SCRGP), who shares in our goal to increase equitable and safe access to the natural resources to our neighboring communities, Derek used our organization’s missions and locations to tell a story of “Reconnecting to Nature. Highlighting MDNA's Regional Conservation Assessment as a tool for local organizations to advocate for access to nature.”

We encourage everyone to view his findings, which showcase much of the work we do, but also so much of the work that needs to be done to make nature accessible to all.
