Bringing a Group?
We love hosting self-led field trips, partner programs, group walks, and small family gatherings at Bluff Lake!
It is important that our team knows about all group visits ahead of time so that we can ensure our site capacity is not overwhelmed, that all site guidelines are being met, and that everyone is able to have a safe fun experience! In addition, knowing how our community utilizes the site helps us to better meet community needs!
After reading the guidelines below, please fill out this form to let us know about your group visit!

Group Visit Guidelines
Bluff Lake is a nature sanctuary that is open to everyone, so there is no guarantee that the area you want to use will be clear of others. We ask that you please be considerate and thoughtful of other visitors using the site.
Bluff Lake is a small non-profit that owns and manages the site. Donations are always welcome!
Obey all site rules, including leaving dogs at home and ensuring that guests remain on designated trails. Review full site rules here: http://www.blufflake.org/about/visiting/
Never leave pets inside of cars in the parking lot unattended as it is dangerous for your pet and considered animal cruelty.
Leave the site in the same condition that you found it.
Ensure the attendance limit does not exceed the communicated number of group visitors.
When possible, avoid the areas where other facilitated BLNC programs are stationed. Areas like the Nature Play Stations are meant to be shared!
Prohibited Group Visit Items Include:
Fires of any kind (any use of the firepit must be approved by BLNC staff and requires additional fees for BLNC personnel to be onsite.)
Glass containers
Food or Drink (other than water) in ANY location other than “upstairs” (by the building, at the picnic tables, at the overlook)
Decorations or activities that are likely to cause litter, such as glitter, confetti, silly-string, or water balloons
Anything to amplify sound, such as speakers, bull-horns, noise-makers, or whistles
Anything that cannot be cleaned up completely following the event
If you are interested in having your group onsite past sunset (when our gate closes), this must be approved by BLNC staff and requires additional fees for BLNC personnel to be onsite. Please fill out the “Group Visit Form” above and indicate your interest.
