What is Bluff Lake Summer Camp all about?
Campers get all the sunshine, bugs, rain, mud, and exploration they want with our outdoor nature-based camps. Our 123 acre property is a wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom where campers can learn and grow surrounded by cottonwood trees, birds, and grasshoppers. Each session has an engaging theme for campers to investigate through activities, crafts, games, and exploration time in Sand Creek. Campers leave each day dirty and tired, having learned more about themselves and the natural world.
Who is Bluff Lake Summer Camp for?
Our campers are children 5-12 years-old, with a Junior Counselor program for those 13-17. Many camp families live or go to school nearby, though we do get plenty of campers from the greater metro area and some who come back year after year from out of state! 20% of our campers receive full scholarships for their family’s financial needs (apply here starting January 9th). We do our best to provide accommodations for campers who have medical, physical, emotional, or learning needs. Our sessions are designed to build self confidence, respect, and a sense of community in nature so that everyone feels comfortable and has fun in the outdoors.
