July 2025 Construction Update
(1) A view of the newly framed Bluff Lake "Headquarters" Building
The Bluff Lake building has officially gone vertical! Last week the slab was poured and this week framing has begun on the walls. It is a big moment for everyone and we are so grateful for our project team for making it happen.
Xcel has also placed our transformer, which is another major milestone for the project.
In the coming month we will see the walls and roof go up; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing begin to be installed; and the handrail starting to go up for the accessible ramp.
Next time you are driving on MLK make sure to take a look at the building!

It's not too late to make your gift to this amazing project. Your support will help build more community spaces, improve accessibility, and leave a lasting impact for generations to come. And don't forget: We have campaign challenges for many of our Bluff Lake community, like Camp Families, Birders, Bluff Lake Explorers (our homeschool and forest school kiddos), Alumni (past board, volunteers, and staff), as well as our board members and more!
