TEMPORARY Ramp Closure Last Week of May
Our new accessible ramp and stairs has been so popular with visitors and has greatly helped improve access to nature on our site!
Unfortunately, some of the landings (spaces where the ramp flattens) were not installed correctly. Our contractor Howell is fixing them, but it means the entire ramp and stairs will be closed for one week. We know what a bummer this is for everyone who is loving the site (trust us, it's a huge bummer for us too!). But we all want to ensure the ramp performs as best it can!
The ramp and stairs will be closed from Tuesday, May 26 through Sunday, May 31, and will reopen at 7:30AM on Monday, June 1.
The site will remain open during this time, and visitors can use the Havana Entrance that served as our main entrance throughout construction as well as the Southwest Pedestrian Entrance (see map below). Our main parking lot, buildings, and restrooms will also be open, but again, you will not be able to access the site from the main parking lot, but you can take in the amazing views!
For program specific details/impacts, the Bluff Lake team will be reaching out to those impacted directly.
